Education

Preparations for the Primary School musical The Secret Garden are providing students with a rich interdisciplinary experience grounded in Transformative Reading.

Across Portuguese, English, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Drama, students are engaging deeply with literature by creating illustrations and stage sets, exploring dramatic interpretation, and developing music and choreography inspired by the story.

Through this collaborative process, students are discovering how reading can foster creativity, critical thinking, and meaningful learning.

Inspiring to see the creativity and confidence of young students in action!

At São José Ramalhão School, in Sintra, Portugal, preparations are already underway for the end-of-year musical production, and today the 4th grade students took center stage during the auditions.

Moments like these highlight the importance of arts, expression, and student engagement in education. It is wonderful to see a school that adopts the Transformative Reading Program continuously creating meaningful and enriching learning experiences for its students.

Congratulations to the entire school community for the amazing work being done! I’m already curious to discover which musical production will come to life this year.
